Entering its 6th year, Canstruction® Vancouver is one of Vancouver's favourite community and family events. Benefiting the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society, this event consistently breaks records for the amount of food raised, numbers of teams, and overall sponsor and community support!

TEAMS

Sign up your corporate, school or family team to participate in the sculpture competition and exhibit, scheduled for February 24th to March 2nd, 2008.

The 2008 Theme is "Books & Bytes." Draw inspiration from your favourite literary figure, work of art or video game as you offer "food for thought" in the fight against hunger.

Be inspired to build a giant sculpture out of canned food, compete for awards, and enjoy the satisfaction of helping resolve hunger in our community in such a creative fashion!

SCHOOLS & GROUPS

Visiting the Canstruction® Vancouver exhibit it a fun, educational and inspiring outing for school groups, seniors and community groups. Kids enjoy visiting CANschool, where they can build their own mini-sculpture with cans provided on site.

Admission is free. Canada Place is easy to access by bus or Skytrain (Waterfront Station). Parking is available for bus groups on the Cruise Ship Level.

VOLUNTEER

There are many opportunities to help with the competition, exhibit and logistics. The Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society recruits hundreds of volunteers to help make Canstruction® a success each year.
